8. Remove the nuts from the outboard seat back frame.
9. If equipped, remove the teardrop washer bolt and washer.
10. Remove the nuts from the inboard seat back frame.
11. Remove the seat back frame from between the adjusters.
IMPORTANT: To provide additional clearance, you may loosen, but do NOT remove, the bolts on the rear seat cushion frame.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the seat back frame between the adjusters.Assure that the locating triangles on the seat back frame are properly seated in the mating holes
in the adjusters.
2. If you loosened the bolts on the rear seat cushion frame during removal, secure the bolts at this time.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Note in Service Precautions.
Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (9 lb ft).
