1. Install the bolts (2) and nuts (3). Do not tighten the nuts at this time.
2. Install the intake valve rocker arm assemblies (4) onto the shaft (1).
3. Install the bolts to the shaft (1).
4. Install the exhaust valve rocker arms (6) and springs (5) onto the shaft (7).

5. Note the installed position of the exhaust valve rocker arms (2).
6. Install the bolts to the shaft (3).

7. Install the lash adjusters (2).

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Important:  The intake rocker arm shaft front locating pin serves as an oil passage for VTEC system operation. During assembly, use care to locate
the shaft onto the pin. Replace pins that are bent or damaged.
