Service Manual Update - Add Sealant to the Right Engine Mount Bracket Lower Bolt

Purpose
The purpose of this bulletin is to communicate service information for applying sealant to engine mount bracket lower bolt to eliminate the potential for
any oil leaks.
Procedure
Engine Mount Bracket-Right Installation
Note:
Refer to "Fastener Notice" in the Cautions and Notice section of the 2004 Saturn VUE Engine Service Manual.
1.
Position the engine mount bracket to the engine.
Important:
Three bolts retain the mount bracket to the engine. Apply sealant to the threads of the lower bolt only.
2.
Apply sealant, Saturn P/N 21485277 (GM P/N 12345382, Canada P/N 10953489), or equivalent, to the engine mount bracket lower bolt only and
install the engine mount bracket to engine bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the engine bolts to 44 N.m (33 ft-lbs).
3.
Install the right engine mount. Refer to the "Engine Mount Replacement - Right" procedure located in the 2004 Saturn VUE Engine Service
Manual.
