Removal Procedure
1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (LAT-2.4L) (See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and
Repair)Drive Belt Replacement (LE5 2.4L) (See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the engine splash shield.
3. Install the J 38122-A (1), and a breaker bar to the balancer in order to prevent the balancer from rotating when loosening the balancer bolt.
4. Remove the J 38122-A (1) and breaker bar.
