Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without LAT-2.4L) (See: Starting and

2. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (See: ) .
3. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) (See: Cooling System/Service and Repair)Cooling System

4. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) fresh air tube. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (See: Powertrain
