Removal Procedure
1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (LY7) (See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel

2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge line quick connect fitting from the intake manifold. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick
Connect Fitting Service (See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Line Coupler/Service and Repair/Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting
Service).
3. Disconnect the EVAP canister purge line quick connect fitting from the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick
Connect Fitting Service (See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Line Coupler/Service and Repair/Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting
Service).
4. Remove the EVAP canister purge line (1) from the vehicle.
