Warranty Information

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Repair Procedure

Replace the door check.

Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS):

2006 or 2007 model year Scion tC Repair Manual, Vehicle Exterior - Door/Hatch - "Engine/Hood: Front Door: Disassembly" and "Engine/Hood:
Front Door: Reassembly".

NOTE:

When a door is replaced, all hemming flanges and body panel seams MUST be sealed with body seam sealer prior to painting the door assembly.
