TSB REVISION NOTICE:

October 12, 2004: Figure 3 has been updated (screw No. 2 is not a Torx screw).

The previous TSB should be discarded.

Introduction 

The moon roof assembly on certain 2005 model year Scion tC vehicles may exhibit a creak or snap noise during body flex conditions, such as entering a
driveway or driving on rough roads. The following repair procedure has been developed to improve this condition.

Applicable Warranty:

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
