Introduction

Some 2005 - 2009 model year Scion tC vehicles may exhibit a condition where the driver's seatback will not adjust when operating the rear seat access
release lever.

Follow the procedure provided in this TSB to repair the rear seat access release lever and correct this condition.

Production Change Information

This TSB applies to vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VIN shown.

Warranty Information

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

^ This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first,

from the vehicle's in-service date.
