GROUND EFFECTS FRONT SKIRT REPAIR

Introduction 

Some 2005 - 2006 model year Scion tC vehicles with the Ground Effects kit may experience a condition where the Ground Effects front skirt bows out
(warps) at the lower portion of the grille opening during high ambient heat exposure. To correct this condition, order part number PT47A-21053-FK,
which contains double-sided tape. The Ground Effects Front Skirt Field-Fix kit will be used to rework the front skirt by removing the three (3) separate
foam isolator pads and replacing them with double-sided tape.

Applicable Vehicles:

2005 - 2006 model year Scion tC vehicles equipped with the Ground Effects kit.

Applicable Warranty:

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.
