2. INSPECT AIR MIX CONTROL SERVOMOTOR

a. Remove the air mix control servomotor.
b. Inspect servomotor operation.

1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4 and negative (-) lead to terminal 5, then check that the lever turns to "MAX

HOT" position smoothly.

2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 5 and negative (-) lead to terminal 4, then check that the lever turns to "MAX

COOL" position smoothly.
If the operation is not as specified, replace the air mix control servomotor.

3. INSPECT AIR VENT MODE CONTROL SERVOMOTOR

a. Remove the air vent mode control servomotor.
b. Inspect servomotor operation.

1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4 and negative (-) lead to terminal 5, then check that the lever turns to "FACE"

position smoothly.

2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 5 and negative (-) lead to terminal 4, then check that the lever turns to "DEF"

position smoothly.

If the operation is not as specified, replace the air vent mode control servomotor.
