2. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

CAUTION:  After removing the terminal, wait for at least 90 seconds before starting the operation.

3. REMOVE HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY

a. Using a torx socket wrench (T30), loosen the 2 torx screws until the groove along the screw circumference catches on the screw case.

b. Pull out the horn button assembly from the steering wheel assembly and support the horn button assembly with one hand as shown in the

illustration.

NOTE:  When removing the horn button assembly, do not pull the airbag wire harness.

c. Disconnect the horn connector.
d. Disconnect the connectors from the horn button assembly.

NOTE:  When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

e. Remove the horn button assembly.

4. INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY

a. Support the horn button assembly with one hand as shown in the illustration.
