Hand tighten the nut until the template is secured.

4) Using a fine tip marker, mark the mounting hole location as shown in the illustration.

5) Remove the 2 nuts, mounting hole positioning template and the NEW Side Impact Airbag Sensor.

6) Center punch the mounting hole location mark (area to be drilled).

7) To prevent the filings from falling inside the door frame when drilling, attach a piece of cloth tape to the backside of the area to be drilled and place a

piece of cloth in the door panel as shown in the illustration.

8) Move the side impact airbag sensor connector out of the way to prevent it from being damaged during the drilling process.
