NOTE:

If the vehicle already has the additional mounting hole pre-drilled in both door frames DO NOT perform the following steps on the next three pages,
and proceed to C. INSTALL THE NEW SIDE IMPACT AIRBAG SENSORS WITH MOUNTING BRACKETS.

1) Temporarily install the NEW Side Impact Airbag Sensor.

2) Temporarily install the mounting hole positioning template.

3) Temporarily reinstall the 2 nuts and hand tighten them to secure the positioning template.

NOTE:

When hand tightening one of the nuts, it will come in contact with a reinforcement bridge on the template as shown in the illustration.

This nut cannot be tightened completely onto the template, this condition is OK.
