6. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
7. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
8. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
a. Remove the 2 nuts and front stabilizer link assembly LH.
HINT: Use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud if the ball joint turns together with the nut.
9. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Remove the RH side following the same procedures as with the LH side.
10. INSPECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
a. Secure the front stabilizer link assembly LH with a vise.
b. Install the nut to the stud bolt.
c. Flip the ball joint back and forth 5 times or more.
d. Use a torque wrench to turn the nut continuously at a rate of 3 to 5 seconds per turn. Take the torque reading on the 5th turn.
Turning torque: 1.0 Nm (10 kgf-cm, 8.9 inch lbs.) or less
e. Check the dust boots for cracks or grease leakage.
If the value is not within the specified range, replace the front stabilizer link Say with new one.

13. DISCONNECT PRESSURE FEED TUBE ASSEMBLY
14. SEPARATE FRONT SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER NO.1 LH
15. SEPARATE FRONT SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER NO.1 RH
HINT: Separate the RH side following the same procedures as with the LH side.
16. REMOVE FLOOR PANEL BRACE FRONT
17. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY CENTER
18. REMOVE HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY
19. REMOVE ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.1
20. SUSPEND ENGINE ASSEMBLY
21. REMOVE NO.1 HOOK
22. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY
