4. DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR FRONT LH 

5. SEPARATE FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH

a. Removing the 2 bolts, separate the disc brake caliper assembly LH from the steering knuckle.

NOTICE:  
-

Use a string or similar device to keep the brake caliper from hanging down by the flexible hose.

-

The friction surface of the pad and disc must be free from oil, grease and paint.

6. REMOVE FRONT DISC

NOTICE:  There should be no oil or grease on the friction surface of the pad and disc.

7. SEPARATE TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

SST 09628-00011

8. SEPARATE FRONT SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER NO.1 LH

9. REMOVE FRONT AXLE ASSEMBLY LH

a. Using a plastic hammer, separate the drive shaft from the axle hub.

NOTICE:  Be careful not to damage the boot and speed sensor rotor.

b. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and steering knuckle from the shock absorber.
