Headlamp Dimmer Switch: Testing and Inspection

HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

a. Inspect the light control switch.

1. Measure the resistance of the switch.

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.

b. Inspect the headlight dimmer switch.

1. Measure the resistance of the switch.

HINT:  Turn the headlight dimmer switch to the HEAD position when checking "LOW BEAM" and "HI BEAM".

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.
