3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER LOWER LH
HINT: To minimize damage to the headlight unit in case of a collision, the stays for the headlight unit have been constructed to break off. The
stays are available as supply parts for low-cost repair.
a. Cut off the part shaded in the illustration and smooth with sandpaper.
NOTE: After cutting off the part, place the headlight protector retainer lower LH against the bosses and gradually file any interfering part
until the proper conditions for installation are met.
b. Install the retainer with the 2 screws.
