a. When checking the resistance of a connector, insert tester probes into the backside of the connector.

b. If the tester probes cannot be inserted, use repair wires to check the resistance as shown in the illustration.

5. PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING BATTERY CABLE

NOTE:  When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following system after the cable is reconnected.
