When storing the front seat airbag, keep the airbag deployment side facing upward.

c. Using a service wire harness for the vehicle, tie down the front seat airbag to the tire.

Wire harness:

Stripped wire harness section A: 1.25 sq.mm or more (    0.0019 sq.in. or more)

HINT:  To calculate the area of the stripped wire harness section:

Area = 3.14 x sq.Diameter/4

CAUTION:  If the wire harness is too thin or an alternative object is used to tie down the front seat airbag, it may be snapped by the shock
when the airbag is deployed. Always use a wire harness for vehicle use with an area of at least 1.25 sq.mm (0.0019 sq.in.).

1. Install the 2 nuts to the front seat airbag.

2. Wind the wire harness around the stud bolts of the front seat airbag as shown in the illustration.
