The previous TSB should be discarded.

Introduction

Customers may find it difficult to fold down the rear seatback on certain 2004 - 2005 model year Scion xB vehicles due to interference with the seat
belts. In order to allow ease of use, the shape of the rear seatback has been modified in production. If a customer is having difficulties with the operation
of the rear seatback, the following procedures may be used.

Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

If Rear Seat Belt Replacement is Necessary:
