Fuel Gauge Sender: Service and Repair
Installation

2AZ-FE FUEL: FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the fuel sender gauge assembly by sliding it downward.

(b) Install the wire harness.

NOTICE:  Do not damage the wire harness.

(c) Install the harness protector.
(d) Connect the fuel sender gauge connector.

2. INSTALL FUEL SUCTION WITH PUMP AND GAUGE TUBE ASSEMBLY See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air

Induction/Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

3. INSTALL FUEL PUMP GAUGE RETAINER See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

4. CONNECT FUEL TANK MAIN TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Service

and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

5. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

6. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK

 See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Service Precautions/Fuel System

7. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION WITH COVER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel
