Horn Relay: Testing and Inspection

HORN: INTEGRATION RELAY: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. REMOVE NO. 1 RELAY BLOCK COVER
2. REMOVE INTEGRATION NO.2 RELAY See: Relays and Modules - Powertrain Management/Relays and Modules - Computers and Control

Systems/Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System)/Service and Repair/Removal

3. INSPECT INTEGRATION NO.2 RELAY

(a) Check the resistance.

(1) Remove the horn relay.
(2) Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

Standard resistance:

If the result is not as specified, replace the integration relay.

4. INSTALL INTEGRATION NO.2 RELAY See: Relays and Modules - Powertrain Management/Relays and Modules - Computers and Control
