Removal

SUSPENSION: FRONT STABILIZER BAR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER
3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR LH
4. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR RH
5. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
6. SECURE STEERING WHEEL See: Steering/Steering Gear/Service and Repair/Removal
7. REMOVE COLUMN HOLE COVER SILENCER SHEET See: Steering/Steering Column/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Removal

8. SEPARATE NO. 2 STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY See: Steering/Steering Column/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Removal

9. SEPARATE NO.1 STEERING COLUMN HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Steering/Steering Gear/Service and Repair/Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT WHEELS
11. LOOSEN FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Removal
12. SEPARATE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Removal
13. SEPARATE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT:  Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

14. SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Removal
15. SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

HINT:  Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

16. SEPARATE TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY LH See: Steering/Steering Gear/Service and Repair/Removal
17. SEPARATE TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT:  Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

18. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER REINFORCEMENT LH See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Removal
19. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER REINFORCEMENT RH See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Removal
20. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE REAR LH See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Removal
21. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE REAR RH

HINT:  Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

22. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Removal
23. REMOVE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Removal
24. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER FRONT BRACE LH

(a) Remove the 4 bolts and front suspension member front brace LH.

25. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER FRONT BRACE RH
