Installation

AUDIO / VISUAL: STEERING PAD SWITCH: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

CAUTION: Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag
system before servicing  See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Service Precautions.

1. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and the pin.
(b) Install the steering pad switch LH with the screw.
(c) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL STEERING PAD ASSEMBLY See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering Pad/Installation

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

4. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic
