Removal

2ZR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER See: Powertrain Management/Ignition System/Ignition Coil/Service and Repair/Removal

2. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and the wire harness bracket.

(b) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector (for exhaust camshaft side).
(c) Remove the bolt and remove the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly (for exhaust camshaft side).

(d) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly (for exhaust camshaft side).

(e) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector (for intake camshaft side).
(f) Remove the bolt and remove the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly (for intake camshaft side).
