LIGHTING: BACK DOOR COURTESY SWITCH: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM UPPER PANEL ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

2. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Disassembly

3. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH

HINT: Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

4. REMOVE BACK DOOR INSIDE HANDLE See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Disassembly

5. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and

Repair/Disassembly

6. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the 3 bolts and the back door lock.

Installation

LIGHTING: BACK DOOR COURTESY SWITCH: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the back door lock with the 3 bolts.

Torque: 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and

Repair/Reassembly

3. INSTALL BACK DOOR INSIDE HANDLE See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Reassembly

4. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Reassembly
