BRAKE CONTROL: FRONT SPEED SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
2. REMOVE ROCKER PANEL MOULDING COVER See: Body and Frame/Spoilers, Flaps, and Air Dams/Mud Flap/Service and Repair/Removal

3. REMOVE SIDE MUDGUARD See: Body and Frame/Spoilers, Flaps, and Air Dams/Mud Flap/Service and Repair/Removal

4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Hood/Hood Latch Release Cable/Service and

Repair/Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR

(a) Disengage the clamp A from the body.
(b) Disconnect the speed sensor connector.
(c) Disengage the clamps B, C and D from the body.
(d) Remove the bolt and separate the No. 2 sensor clamp from the body.
(e) Remove the bolt and separate the No. 1 sensor clamp from the shock absorber.
(f) Remove the bolt and remove the speed sensor from the steering knuckle.

NOTICE:
-

Keep the speed sensor tip and installation portion free of foreign matter.

-

Remove the speed sensor without turning it from its original installation angle.
