4. INSTALL FRONT SPRING BUMPER

(a) Install the spring bumper onto the coil spring seat upper with the air discharge groove of the spring bumper and the rib portion of the coil

spring seat upper aligned.
NOTE: Securely insert the spring bumper into the coil spring seat upper.

5. INSTALL FRONT COIL SPRING UPPER SEAT

(a) Install the coil spring seat upper with the strut mounting bearing and spring bumper onto the shock absorber.

6. INSTALL FRONT SUPPORT TO FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER NUT

(a) Provisionally tighten a new nut.
(b) Remove SST from the front coil spring.

NOTE: Do not use an impact wrench. It will damage SST.

(c) Using a socket hexagon wrench 6, fix the shock absorber rod and tighten the nut.

Torque: 33 Nm (340 kgf-cm, 25 ft-lbf)
