Removal

C50 MANUAL TRANSAXLE: TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 

2. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL 

3. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX REAR COVER 

4. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET 

5. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY 

6. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX 

7. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CENTER BRACE See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Exhaust Pipe/Service and Repair/Removal

8. DISCONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR CONNECTOR
9. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Exhaust Pipe/Service and Repair/Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and nut and remove the front No. 1 floor heat insulator.

11. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the control shift cable from the shift lever.
(b) Remove the clip and disconnect the control select cable from the shift lever.
