Only use ATF with part number -G 052 990 A2-.
–  Fill the converter with 1.5 litres of ATF.
–  Fit the torque converter.
   
The ATF pump is activated via the torque converter -arrows-.

–  Tilt the gear approx. 60°, in such a manner that when the converter is inserted, the ATF does not fall out.
–  Place the torque converter in the housing, taking into account its position with respect to the ATF pump sprocket.
–  Turn the gear in such a way that the converter remains level.
–  Fit the converter into the cutouts of the ATF pump sprocket.

The converter has been correctly fitted when the measurement between the joining flange and the contact surface of the converter's guide stem is 18 mm.
