| Screw a self-tapping screw with an approx. diameter of 4 mm into the opening of the seal -arrow-. |
Note t
| To avoid damaging the bearing behind, do not screw in the self-tapping screw too far. |

| Pull out seal using puller -T10055- and adapter -T10055/2-. |

| Remove cloth and thoroughly clean gearbox and the opening for the drive shaft. |

| No metal shavings must be allowed to enter the gearbox or opening for drive shaft; if necessary, draw off shavings. |

| If only the metal ring of the sealing ring can be pulled out, carefully lever out the rest of the sealing ring using a screwdriver. |

| Smear the outside circumference and the lips of the seal with ATF. |

| Installation position: the open side of the seal faces the gearbox. |

| Fit the new seal by hand so that it is straight then press it in as far as possible so that the ring-seal is secured in the gearbox housing. |
