Tightening torques. > < Check and refill

–  Raise the vehicle
   
–  Remove bolts -1 ... 3- and remove central noise insulation.
–  Place below the collecting tray -T20173-.

–  Unscrew drain plug -arrow- and empty gearbox oil.

–  Unscrew the cover for the oil level and oil filling -arrow-.
–  Screw the oil drain plug in and tighten at the appropriate tightening torque → Chapter.
  Note
Oil level is correct when the oil reaches the bottom edge of filling hole.
Oil specification for gears → Chapter.
–  Fill with new gear oil up to the correct level.
–  Unscrew control lid, start engine and let the gears work with engaged gear for about 2 minutes.
–  Stop the engine, remove oil cap and check level again, top up if necessary.
–  Screw the cover for the oil level and oil filling and tighten with the appropriate tightening torque → Chapter.
–  Install the middle soundproofing.
