| With the engine “running”, screw on the adapter -VAS 6262/2- and tighten by hand. |

| Remove the oil tester w/auto -VAS 6262- at the fast connection and check: |
whether ATF is coming out through the hole of the adapter: |
it is not necessary to add ATF. |

| Allow ATF to come out until it is dripping. |

| Tighten the sealing screw with a new seal, to a torque of 15 Nm. This concludes the ATF test. |

| Another litre must be added. |
WARNING The operation of the gearbox will be affected whether there is insufficient or excessive ATF. But if the level is down by as much as 2 litres, the gearbox should be more thoroughly examined. There is probably a leak of “some significance”. |
