The following process is only valid for gearboxes without filler hose -arrow-.
  N37-10325
–  With the engine “running”, screw on the adapter -VAS 6262/2- and tighten by hand.
–  Add 1 litre of ATF.
–  Remove the oil tester w/auto -VAS 6262- at the fast connection and check:
whether ATF is coming out through the hole of the adapter:
it is not necessary to add ATF.
–  Allow ATF to come out until it is dripping.
–  Tighten the sealing screw with a new seal, to a torque of 15 Nm. This concludes the ATF test.
If no ATF is dripping:
–  Another litre must be added.
  WARNING
The operation of the gearbox will be affected whether there is insufficient or excessive ATF. But if the level is down by as much as 2 litres, the gearbox should be more thoroughly examined. There is probably a leak of “some significance”.
