Removing and installing mirror housing
Removing and installing mirror housing
  Note
t  Removal and installation is described for the right exterior mirror housing only. The left side is similar.
t  Generally, the mirror housing cannot be removed without being damaged.
Removal
   
Carry out following work:
–  Remove mirror glass → Chapter.
–  Remove trim → Chapter.
–  Release locking hooks -arrows a-
–  Then, pull mirror housing -1- frontwards in -direction of arrow b- off mirror mounting -2-.
–  Doing so will release the remaining locking hooks.

Installation
   
Carry out following work:
–  Press mirror housing -1- onto mirror mounting until locking hooks engage audibly.
l  Finally carry out a functional check.
–  Install trim → Chapter.
–  Install mirror glass → Chapter.
