Rocker panel end cover: Install
Rocker panel end cover: Install
Install in reverse order to dismantling, noting the following:
–  Replace double-sided foam rubber adhesive tape on rocker panel end cover.
  Caution
The bonding area on the sill panel must be free of dust and grease.
–  Shortly before assembling rocker panel end cover clean outer side of sheet metal with adhesive remover -D00200010-.
Remove protective foil, position on side strip and press on firmly.
   
Fitting notes
Parameter for bonding procedure: 
Body temperaturemin. 35 ℃
Curing time for body after bondingMin. 3.5 hours at workshop temperature
Cleaning bonding surfaces 
Cleaning withMixture of isopropanol/water (50:50), pure isopropanol as alternative
Use new rag on each side. Evaporation time 
Evaporation timeMin. 1 minute, max. 24 hours
Press on adhesive tapes with roller35 N/cm2
Force applied to bonding surfaceMin. 24 hours after assembly.
