Installation
Installation
Reinstall in opposite order as removal observing following:
   
–  Tighten the securing bolts -Arrows- after adjusting the cover height to 1.8 Nm.

–  Insert connector for high-mounted stop lamp through grommet -Arrow- in body.
–  Connect electrical connector → Item for stop lamp.
–  Attach spoiler to tailgate at installation lines.
–  Press spoiler together so that it also clips in the area of the double sided adhesive foam → Item.
–  Open the tailgate.

–  Screw in screws -A- in sequence -1 ... 4-.
  E66-10070
–  Install black caps -1- for covering mounting screws for spoiler (depending on model).
–  Fit the plug -2-.

Bolted joints Torque settings
Mounting screws for bulb socket1.8 Nm
Mounting screws for spoiler2.5 Nm
