Applying the stickers to the tailgate
Applying the stickers to the tailgate
–  Clean the contact surface of the new stickers and the outer plate surface of the tailgate using Isopropyl or Heptanol alcohol.
–  Then treat the area where the new sticker should be applied using silicone cleaner.
–  Allow to dry well.
–  Heat up the contact surface on the body to approx.35°C with a hot air gun -SAT 1416-, Check temperature with digital thermometer -SAT 4002-.
   
–  Remove the backing foil -2- from the gluing strip for the new „ALTEA“ sticker.
–  Apply the new stickers -3- at a distance of 100 mm as shown in the figure.
–  Attach stickers -3- and press down with pressure tool -T20098- with force of approx 5 kg.
–  Remove backing foil -1- from stickers.
