t  Lever -U30800-
t  Ratchet pliers
t  Drift punch
t  Removing → Anchor
t  Fitting → Anchor.
Removing

–  Detach the cover of the mirror base -1- using the lever -U30800-.

–  Insert a screwdriver -1- between the mirror base -3- and the base plate -2-. Lever off the interior rear-view mirror in the -direction of arrow-.

Only for vehicles with automatically dimming interior rear view mirror.
–  Detach connector -1-.

Fitting .
Install in reverse order when observing the following:
–  Tension the spring -2- using the pipe wrench -3-. Apply pressure as shown in illustration.
  Note
Pressing the spring axis -2- together using the pipe wrench -3- has the effect that the spring mount -4- slips upwards and blocks the spring. Thus, the axis -1- protrudes less and is easier to install.

Only for vehicles with automatically dimming interior rear view mirror.
–  Connect the electric connector -1-.

Continued for all interior rear-view mirrors
–  Insert the interior rear-view mirror into the base plate -1-. Start on the side -3- in the process (side without spring mount -4-).

–  Engage the mirror base -1- completely in the base plate. For this purpose, apply pressure to the mirror base in the -direction of the arrow- using a drift pin -3-.

–  Fit the cover of the mirror base -1-. Check if it has a correct seating and that all clamps -arrows- have engaged.
