Removing and installing seat cushions
Removing and installing seat cushions
Removing
–  Attach seat repair stand -VAS 6136- to engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-.
–  Remove seat → Chapter.
–  Fasten seat on seat repair stand -VAS 6136-.
–  Remove side seat frame trims → Chapter.
   
–  Remove securing element -3- and detach shock absorber -4- from seat frame.
–  Undo screws -2- and -5- and remove seat cushion.
  Note
t  The screws -2- and -5- are micro-encapsulated and must be replaced when seat cushion is installed.
t  The corresponding threads should be cleaned, for example, with a suitable wire brush, before fitting the new screws.

Installing
–  Install in reverse order of removal.
