Fuel tank flap unit: dismantling and fitting > < Fuel tank flap unit

–  Unscrew the fuel tank cap.
–  Remove screw -1- (behind the hermetic lip) from the rubber bowl -2-.
–  Press the rubber bowl -2- of the fuel tank flap unit -3- inwards.

–  Introduce tool -T20122- behind the fuel tank flap unit -arrow- by the left-hand side of the filling nozzle.

–  Place the tool -2- above the lower frame -arrow A-.
–  Carefully press the tab that there is below -1- against the fuel tank flap unit with the help of tool -T20122-. For this turn the tool screw until there is sufficient pressure on the tab to release the fuel tank flap unit.
–  Pull out the fuel tank flap unit to release it from its fitting.
–  Repeat this process for the upper tab.
