| Front wing: removing and installing |
| Removing |
| – | Remove wheel housing moulding → Chapter |
| – | Remove the front bumper → Chapter |
| – | Remove the side indicator |
| – | Extract the rear attachment bolt -1- which is found between the wing and the door |
| – | Release the attachment bolt -2- of undercarriage protection, and remove it |
| – | Extract the remaining attachment bolts -3- |
| – | Heat the wing at the contact points with the pillar A, using the Electric hot air blower -SAT 1416- and remove it (separate the under carriage protection -KR00430603- or Undercarriage protection -0000980603- using an upholstery knife) |
Note| The Undercarriage protection -KR00430603- or Undercarriage protection -0000980603- can only be gently heated for a short time. The PVC should not change colour or form bubbles |
| Installation |
| Installation is performed in reverse of the above sequence |
| – | Before tightening the wing, apply an intermediate layer of Electric welding paint -KR00430903- or Electric welding paint -0000980903- in the contact area with the bolts |
| – | Fit the Undercarriage protection -KR00430603- or Undercarriage protection -0000980603- in the areas where this protection was separated, using the Structural putty pistol -SAT 5380- |
