Upholstery and padding for front seat back: removal and assembly

Removing

Note

When removing and fitting, there are certain differences in the working of the equipment which should be taken into account

Headrests dismounted

–	Remove the seat → Chapter

–	Dismount seat back → Chapter

–	Remove the headrest guides → Chapter.

–	Remove the draught exclusion seams -1- from the upholstery -2- using a screwdriver -arrows-

–	Remove the lever for unlocking -3- the seat back.

Note

If the lever -3- or the corresponding staple -2- are worn, they should be replaced before assembly.

–	Take off trim -1-.

–	Unhook the tensioning wires -1-, -arrows-.

–	Lift up the upholstery until the tensioning wires -1- and the padding wires -2- are visible.

–	Unhook the padding wires -2- and the tensioning wires -1- and remove the upholstery -3-.

–	Remove the padding from the seat back frame.
