Door soundproofing panels: removing and fitting
   
Door soundproofing panels: removing and fitting
The panels of soundproofing help to insulate the interior of the vehicle from noise, the entrance of water and draughts.
The replacement soundproofing panels are self-adhesive
The soundproofing panels should be carefully stuck on without creases. To replace, clean the areas to be glued and stick the new panel from the bottom up without creases
Removing
–  Removing the door linings → Chapter
–  Unclip the staples -arrows- from the door using the tool -T20065-
–  Unclip the staple from the Bowden cable of the door system and replace, if necessary when reassembling
Installation
–  Insert the connections and the Bowden cable through the panel and remove the protective tape from the adhesive region
–  Centre the panel with respect to the openings for the securing staples, and attach the panel
–  Check that the panel is correctly attached to the door, especially in the lower region
