Note:

The opening of the refrigerant circuit can only be carried out in workshops, which have trained personnel and the necessary range of tools and workshop equipment.

To facilitate removing and installing the engine without opening the refrigerant circuit:

• ‒ Remove retaining clamp(s) from refrigerant pipes.
• ‒ Remove ribbed belt .
• ‒ Remove alternator:

=> Electrical system; Repair group 27; alternator with ribbed belt, 4-Cyl. Diesel engine

• ‒ Removing air conditioner compressor:

=> Heating, Air conditioning; Repair group 87; removing and installing compressor bracket

• ‒ Secure air conditioner compressor to body so that the refrigerant hoses/pipes are relieved.
