Readiness code
Readiness code
Function The readiness code is an 8-digit number code which displays the status of the emission relevant diagnosis. When the diagnosis for a system (e.g. secondary air system) has been successfully completed, the corresponding position in the number code will change from 1 to 0. The diagnosis is performed at regular intervals during normal driving. It is recommended that the readiness code be generated after performing repairs on an emission relevant system, to guarantee that these systems function correctly. If a fault is detected during the diagnosis it will be entered in the fault memory. Each time the fault memory is erased the readiness code will be erased. |
