Removing and installing sealing flange on gearbox side > < Cylinder block, gearbox end

  Note
t  For clarity, the process is described with the engine removed.
t  The sequence of operations is identical with the engine mounted and the gearbox removed.
Operation process
–  Remove flywheel and drive disc.
–  Put the engine in TDC cylinder 1 → Chapter.
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
   
–  Remove engine speed sender -G28--arrow-
–  Unscrew securing bolts of sealing flange.
  Note
Sealing flange and sender wheel are pressed off the crankshaft together using three M6×35 mm bolts.

–  Screw 3 M6 x 35 mm bolts into threaded holes of sealing flange -arrows-.
–  Screw bolts into sealing flange alternately (max. 180° per bolt) in order to press sealing flange from crankshaft together with sender wheel.
