Engine number

The engine number (“engine code” and number) is printed on the front part of the engine block, gearbox side, under the thermostat housing.

Additionally, there is an adhesive with the “engine code” and “identification number”, stuck to the toothed belt cover.

The engine code is also included in the vehicle literature.
