Conditions
   
l  One of the polygon cams -arrow- is found on the upper part of the crankshaft.
Work sequence
–  Fit new gasket onto guide pins.
–  Coat the four crankshaft polygon cams with oil.

–  Position the oil pump inner rotor markings arrow -A- coinciding with the position mark -B- on oil pump housing cover.
–  Lightly oil the sealing lip of the oil pump oil seal.

–  Place connecting piece -T20081B/2- over the oil pump seal and carefully guide the pump on to the crankshaft polygon cams.
–  Align inner rotor to crankshaft polygon cams by turning slightly if necessary.
–  Then slide the oil pump carefully onto guide pins.
–  Install oil pump → Item.
–  Remove guide sleeve -T20081B/2-.
–  Install intake pipes → Item.
–  Install sump → Chapter.
–  Install the support for vane pump-compressor-alternator, taking into account the sequence of tightening → Item.
–  Fit the toothed belt sprocket and tensioning roller, the toothed belt, fit, tension → Chapter, Toothed belt: removing, installing and tensioning.
–  Install ribbed belt → Chapter.
