1 - Front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter
2 - Marking
q   Three times on circumference
q   S = Manual gearbox
3 - Double clamp
4 - Dimension-a- = ca. 5 mm
5 - Mushroom head screw
6 - 23 Nm
7 - Front silencer → Note
q   Insert in double clamp to marking
8 - Mounting
q   Renew if damaged
9 - Connecting piece
10 - 15 Nm
11 - Mounting
q   Renew if damaged
12 - 22 Nm + 1/4 turn (90 °) further
13 - Rear silencer → Note
14 - Marking
q   Visible from below
q   For repair double clamp → Item
15 - Separating point
q   For repair cases → Note
q   Marked by impressions on connecting pipe
16 - Repair double clamp
q   Must be slid onto the markings → Item

1)  Front and rear silencers are installed as a single component as standard. In repair cases the front and rear silencers are supplied individually and a repair double clamp → Item is supplied as a joint. Cut through connecting pipe at right-angles at separating point → Item with a body saw e.g. -U-40075-.
